With the introduction of AS5216, the Australian standard for post-installed anchors, there has been positive moves toward safer design and use of anchors. Still, there are some common ambiguities and questions within the industry, particularly around the use of anchors in temporary applications. The word or consideration of temporary may be at times pose a perception of reduced importance of the connection.
