In this session, we will be taking a look at the design considerations of passive firestopping in health care buildings and highlight some of the unique challenges related to these types of projects. We will take a look at the importance of design and specifications to achieve required FRLs and deep dive into some additional requirements and attributes of products such as air leakage, mold and mildew resistance that elevates the building performance according to requirements in hospitals and other health care relevant buildings.
