I am currently proposing a base connection with Hilti HAS-U M10 threaded rod with HIT-HY 200-R V3 injection mortar. The tension & shear load (0.45kn & 1.185kN) is minor and it passed the design capacity based on the software and technical datasheet.
However, it seems like the minimum embedment depth needs to be minimum 60mm. My client insists to use 55mm embedment depth instead of 60mm. Could you please advice whether 55mm is applicable?
If not, do you have any better advice?

You are correct, the minimum embedment depth that was tested with HY 200-R V3 is 60mm, which is why Profis Engineering doesn't allow you to choose a shorter embedment depth, simply because we wouldn't have the data to support such a design.
Have you considered using a mechanical anchor option? We have multiple anchor options with different embedment depth requirements that might suit your application.
