Testing of post-installed cogged bars

As shown in the photo attached, we need to place a hydraulic cylinder to establish a connection between the rod and base material to conduct proof load testing. Given that the bar is in cogged or hook shape, it will be difficult to place the hydraulic cylinder all the way to the base material. Hence, it is not possible to test cogged or hook bars (unless for test purpose they are straightened and are perpendicular to the base material).
