Specifying M36 hold down anchor bolts

Our pump supplier has recommended 6 x M36 anchor bolts to be installed into the 32 MPa reinforced concrete plinth. Please recommend a suitable anchor bolt system to specify. I was looking at Hilti HIT-RE 500 with HIT-V / HAS-E, M36x330, but I am unsure if I have these codes correct. Application is outdoors, exposed to weather.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for reaching out to Hilti. Unfortunately we do not have HIT-V and HAS-E anchor rods in our portfolio any longer. These are either discontinued or replaced with anchor rods mentioned below.

Please note some limitations in available anchor rod sizes for 8.8 HDG and A4 stainless steel materials.

If you require no further clarification with the design, to specify a chemical anchor set, please note the following codes:

  1. HIT-RE 500 V3 HAS-U anchor rods

  • Chemical Mortar item #2123403 HIT-RE 500 V3
  • Anchor rod M30 max Insert item #2223918 HAS-U 8.8 HDG M30x380
  • Anchor rod M24 max Insert item #2223932 HAS-U A4 M24x300

  1. HIT-HY 200-R HIT-Z-R

  • Chemical Mortar item #2262134 HIT-HY 200-R V3
  • Anchor rod M20 max Insert item #2018438 HIT-Z-R M20x215

  1. HIT-HY 200-R HAS-U anchor rods

  • Chemical Mortar item #2262134 HIT-HY 200-R V3
  • Anchor rod M30 max Insert item #2223918 HAS-U 8.8 HDG M30x380
  • Anchor rod M24 max Insert item #2223932 HAS-U A4 M24x300

Further to this, we are happy to look into your design considerations to try and accommodate the anchor rods we do have available to resist your loads.
