Minimum RC slab depth

What is the minimum slab depth required to accept the Hilti Profis anchor system taking into account that the slab is utilising a Bondek type formwork and the "L" upper bracket is to be set in a pocket deep enough to be below the top of slab finished surface'

Hello Stephen,

Thank you for reaching out to Hilti.

The minimum required concrete slab thickness is dependent on the type and size of anchor rods. Hence, based on which anchor you select in Profis Engineering, if it is less than the minimum requirement, Profis will automatically ask you to change it to minimum requirement. Moreover, the minimum baseplate thickness allowed for rigid connections is 3 mm and that for CBFEM is 4 mm.

I hope this clarifies your question. If not, please get in touch with our design team >> here with some sketches or drawings to better understand your connection and application.

Kind Regards,
