How to model a row of more than 3 anchors in a row

I am modelling a plate in Hilti Profis with a continuous single row of anchors, as in the attached snip. I would like to model more than 3 in a row. Is it possible? I cannot find an option for that in the layouts menu.
Thank you,
Anna

Hello Anna,

Thank you for reaching out to Hilti.

You can definitely design your connection for more than 3 anchors using Profis Engineering. Under the layouts menu, there is an option of custom design in which you can place more than 3 anchors as per your geometry. However, given that more than 3 anchors in row layout is not covered as per Section 2.1 in AS 5216, you will need to select Hilti SOFA method for design.

For anchoring configuration which are not covered in the AS 5216 standard the HILTI Solution for Fastenings (SOFA) has been developed through stringent research and assessment from Hilti to provide anchor design solutions for such cases. This method requires all anchors are engaged and acting together to resist tension and shear loads. The filling hole option assumes that the annular gap between the threaded rod and the hole clearance in the base plate is filled with mortar such as RE500V4 or HY200-R V3.

Please see screen shot from Profis Engineering attached.

Hope this helps. If you have any further questions please reach out to our engineering team >> here.

Kind Regards,
