Hi Joaquin,
Thank you for contacting Hilti.
Unfortunately, I was not able to open the PE file that you attached here. Therefore, I would suggest you reach out to our Technical Support Team for any specific project enquiry >> Technical Advice Services - Hilti Australia
A few generic comments, since I cannot see details of your application:
- You might be able to change the embedment depth by changing from "Optimised embedment depth" to "User selected embedment depth" in the anchors tab on the left of your screen (see attached screen shot).
- Please check the "Notifications" panel on the right as it might give you some tips on how to achieve your selected embedment (see image attached). The notifications can indicate some issues related to the geometry, base material thickness and others.
I hope the above is helpful, please reach out if you need further support.
Kind regards,
Ask Hilti team

Hi Joaquin, thanks for clarifying you're considering the HVU2 with the HAS-U rods. When compared to other chemicals, that are installed with injection (such as RE 500 V4 and HY 200 V3), the HVU2s allow for lower embedment flexibility due to the length of the capsules. Therefore, Profis will allow for one or two set embedment depths depending on the diameter. The second embedment depth consists of inserting two capsules in the drilled hole. The minimum embedment is reflected in the ETA approval. Please refer to table B2, page 10, of the ETA-16/0515 > https://profisengineering.hilti.com/cdn/pe-ui-pe/approvals/EN/HVU2_ETA-16_0515.pdf.

Hi Mariana,
Could you please try using the HVU2+HAS-U option to check if it allows you to input a user-defined embedment?
