How do you specify a HAC-V-T channel?

Do the channels come in standard lengths and standard stud lengths and spacings ?
Are the design loads tabulated for the bolt is next to a stud OR at mid length between the studs?
Is there a publication that gives an indication of what all the letters after a product mean?

Hello Silvio,

Thank you for reaching out to Hilti.

• The HAC- V anchor channels are available in standard lengths and spacings. For check for any particular length, you can simply go on to HAC – V webpage (link) and check for the length you are after.
• The design loads are dependant upon the placement of the channel bolts and baseplate. You can design your HAC channels using Hilti’s Profis Software (link).
• The marking of the anchor channels can be found in the ETA approval document (link).

If you need further support with your anchor channel designs, please reach out to our engineering team >> here.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,
