Chemset Anchor Watertightness
Hi. I'm looking to specify one of Hilti's A4 stainless steel chemset anchors to connect an aluminum pergola to a RC slab. Client is concerned about the existing waterproofing being penetrated but does the chemset provide watertightness? Or will I need additional consideration for waterproofing around the base connection.

Hi Kenji,
Thank you for your question. Depending on which chemical anchor you are looking at, we have additional test data on water tightness testing. Best option is generally the epoxy range of products.
