In Profis what anchor type do I need to use for normal 32 or 36mm rebar to check shear capacity in connection?

Thank you for posting your question,
In PROFIS Engineering under the tab of anchor selection, you have the option of selecting 32 mm and 36 mm rebar rods
with HIT-RE500 (shown in image below). Once selected, you can add the shear values in your design and check the capacity. However, please note that when designing rebar as an anchor in the "concrete fixing" module in PROFIS Engineering will mean the maximum embedment depth will be restricted to 20d (d= diameter of the rod) as per AS5216.
