Designed for productivity and safety

Increased drop and kickback protection
Unique 3D Active Torque Control (ATC) for battery saws stops tool in ≤ 1 second

Fast-acting blade brake
Stops battery saw discs spinning in ≤ 4 seconds after trigger release

Virtually dust-free cutting
The DWP 15-22 water pump suppresses dust to within allowable limits – ideal for battery saws.

Total system performance
Get up to 30% more work per charge with battery optimized blades, compared to gas saw blades.

Pick the right power source for your task
No matter what the cutting task, we have the heavy-duty power you need. Choose Nuron battery cut-off saws for both indoor and outdoor work when you’re cutting the equivalent of 1-2 gas tanks a day. Go with gas saws when you’re using two or more gas tanks a day in locations where you don’t have access to power and can’t plug in your chargers.
What you can do with 2x2 batteries*

When to use gas

* Based on internal testing with:
DSH 900-22 ATC battery-powered cut-off saw. Figures shown are based on using 2x2 B 22-290 Nuron batteries and 360 mm SPX Universal A blade. Jobsite conditions, such as temperature, humidity, dust levels, and materials being worked on, can significantly affect the maximum amount of work possible with one battery charge.

Smoother cuts: Low-friction diamond segments for a smoother experience.
Faster cuts: Carefully selected diamonds and specific powders make cutting quicker.
Versatile: Diamond segment shapes optimized for almost any application.
Easy blade ID: Blades named ‘A’ and featuring battery icons are made for battery cut-off saws.
Use the right blade
Get up to 30% more cuts per charge than equivalent gas saw blades with our SPX Universal A diamond and SP Universal A diamond blades. Working with metal? Use the SPX metal cutting disc.
Use good cutting technique
For better performance and more work per charge, move the tool back and forth with just enough pressure.
Use water during cutting
Wet cutting helps reduce friction when cutting and can give you more work per charge. Plus it helps reduce exposure to harmful dust like silica.
Use the right battery and charger
Use B 22-290 batteries or B22-60 batteries and a C8 D-22 charger.
For maximum run time and power output, we recommend using two sets of two B 22-290 Nuron batteries. This set-up is ideal for continuous heavy-duty cutting tasks. For outdoor work in rain or high humidity, and for frequent charging, we recommend using two sets of B 22-260 Nuron batteries. For both battery types, use our C8 D-22 dual bay charger for faster charging.
The tool body of our battery cut-off saws has a similar price to the tool body of our gas cut-off saws. However, when you factor in ongoing fuel costs, gas saws will become more expensive over time in the majority of cases. Battery cut-off saws also have fewer wearable parts than gas cut-off saws. As a result, battery cut-off saws can have up to double the tool life of gas cut-off saws.
