I'm wondering if it is possible to model in changes in the base material (concrete) for things such as step-downs or rebates? For example, a steel column on a brick-veneer edge beam. I'm not sure what the best way to input this would be?

Hi, is there a document that can help to prove and determine which part of the pre cast wall panel is cracked and non cracked concrete, we are installing punch windows and strip windows to reinforced pre cast walls, and we wanted to know if its cracked or non cracked. Any document like BBA or anything that can support this.

Is any HILTI expansion anchor suitable for blind holes on steel beam or hollow section beam?

Hi, Does Hilti PROFIS apply any ULS load factors to the loads or should we be inputting factored loads in the software? There seems to be a capacity reduction factor of 0.6, and a concrete safety factor of 1.5, however I was under the impression that the inputted loads should be factored loads so would like to confirm. Hi. I am currently setting up a masonry design and wanted clarification on what the joint material is? In the software there are two options - M2, 5 to M9 & M10 to M20. I initially thought this was referring to the mortar classification from AS3700 however this only goes up to M4. Could you please provide some clarification?

Can you site bend Grade 8.8 M16 HDG threaded rod? If so what is the maximum limit of bend? Percentage of rods for a base plate have been installed on an angle and base plate won't fit. Holes were drilled to avoid existing Reinforcement.

Hi Hilti. I am designing a pair of M20 anchors: 250mm embedment, HAS-U, HDG, HIT-HY 200. I am wondering what the installation torque should be? From the HIT-HY 200 tech datasheet page 9 it appears that maximum allowable install torque is 150Nm. Is this correct? I presume not - It seems strange to me that there is just a blank...

Can you change the minimum anchor size options within the software? The previous Hilti PROFIS allowed me to use an M8 HST3 anchor however this online software starts at a minimum of M12. I have very small loads that are easily accommodated by M8. How do you change the minimum anchor sizes in the software

I understand the scope of the code only allows anchors to be installed up to 20db. I am in a particular situation where I just need more depth. Is there another method of anchorage that I can use to achieve this for the breakout strength required?
